The business empires you see today was not built in two years. That is the mistake newbies into the business world fall into. They want to achieve overnight success. When it is not forthcoming, they abandon the business cause for another one. Before they know it, they have become a serial failure in business. If you are having a measure of good success as a new entrant into any business; your watchword should be patience.

* Have A Good Idea

All the successful businesses that you see today have a solid blueprint. Do you have a business idea? Have you factored all it will take you to be successful with that idea? You are expected to spend time at the drawing board to put your ideas together perfectly well. Effective planning in business comes before success.

There are three Ps of business success; they are:

* PLEASURE
* PROFIT

When you have a passion for a business concern, you will derive pleasure doing such a business. When these two Ps are in perfect agreement, profit (your ultimate target) will definitely come in. There are no two ways about it. You will become a flourishing boss and will be happy watching the growth of your business.

Your Priorities

You cannot eat your cake and have it. A lot is expected from you as the boss of your business. You have to draw a scale of preference; your business should be the number on the list. You need to devote all your productive hours to the success of your new business. If you must get the desired solid footing in business; then you must do the following:

* Cut down on time spent with families and friends
* Your social life should come down to level zero-at least in the beginning
